Let It All Go Free

I took the vision board off the wall, put away all the kid stuff, and took one last look in the mirror at who she was looking for me to respond with, all that I had done wrong, and stopped thinking of what could be inside a big beautiful home or a career.  

I dropped  into the heart and asked myself, “How do I want to feel in all those tomorrow’s?”  

With that came a tear and that’s when I knew that the reflection was still living a lie of a world that was still building in the material world.

I let the true anger out, set the frustrations free and destroyed the mirror, the expectation, and the so called dream. All glued to a paper board on the wall.

Standing strong in a truth and tall with a conviction, I looked at the life I had exhausted and depleted once more still trying to be enough for even my future self.

I have let it all die and have come back to the woman without the inner child wounds overriding my thoughts and looked at the physical body of a woman who decided to do the hard stuff. I did the ground work because I am worth replenishing and my reunion with my soul has shown me I have one life as this human, so why stick it on a wall and wait for a day that would be another appearance as happiness and joy.

My life is in my hands and not in the hands of shadows, pictures and reflections trying to fool my all known wisdom that I have to prove that I am someday going to be enough.

The woman I am today is the gift, not a problem standing in the way of a future vision.  

Today and this moment is a gift and these moments I no longer take for granted.  

The possible me of tomorrow is standing right here and the difference is now I can feel her because I am no longer numb. Knowing that this same passion & compassion of today will follow me all the way into all that I may be blessed to live. Stop letting these moments with you slip through your fingers wishing for yesterday’s or tomorrow’s.  

Be powerful in your love and light of today and it will always guide you to “The Way!”
