Habits and Patterns Rooted in “Not Enough”
The most unhealthiest life I lived was the one built from the belief that I was not enough! The most dangerous part was that it was built unconsciously. I didn’t know, until I could see, the conditioned habits and patterns that had been creating a life, an identity, and a way I would show up.

I see you … I feel you…
Personally the most unhealthiest life I lived was the one built from the belief that I was not enough! The most dangerous part was that it was built unconsciously. I didn’t know, until I could see, the conditioned habits and patterns that had been creating a life, an identity, and a way I would show up.
Reacting to life is not the way
Pay attention to how you respond to something and how quickly you want to defend or prove something, to someone, or something. Are you in a state of fight, flight, fawn, freeze, always in a frenzy, feeding the fear and forsaking your own light and moral compass? Yes, this includes the rebellious rebel and warrior for all!
It’s not about fault or laying blame, it’s about beliefs and the core wounds.
See most people don’t choose their lives. They react into them.
They build relationships to feel chosen.
They build careers to feel worthy.
They build schedules so full there’s no space to feel the ache underneath.
And beneath it all lives a quiet, unexamined belief of, “I am not enough as I am”. When this belief runs the show, success never satisfies. Love always feels conditional. Rest feels undeserved. And no matter how much you “achieve,” something still feels hollow.
Restrictions become discipline that often leads to disappointment and self sabotage, not because you failed, but because the foundation was never conscious. A life built from unworthiness will always ask you to prove yourself. Over and over again.
The real danger isn’t struggle. It’s mistaking survival strategies for destiny.
Survival strategies are the unconscious habits, behaviors, and thought patterns we develop to protect ourselves from feelings of unworthiness, fear, or pain. They are often rooted in past experiences, societal conditioning, or repeated messages that we are not enough.
And the moment you begin to see this, the moment you become aware of what you’ve been building from, everything starts to shift.
But awareness alone isn’t the work. The real question is… what would your life look like if it was built from enoughness instead? And how would you even begin to dismantle what was built unconsciously… without tearing yourself apart in the process?
Here’s the truth: these patterns are survival strategies, not destiny.
And the moment you notice them, the moment you pause and ask, “What part of this life is really mine, and what part is built from not enough?” Everything begins to shift.
So today, let yourself notice. Sit with it. Feel it. Because the life that comes from enoughness, it’s waiting for you, quietly asking to be claimed.
Much Love,

The More Than Existing™️ Way Habits and Patterns Rooted in “Not Enough”
Overcompensation
Overworking, overachieving, or overperforming to prove value.
Saying yes to everything because rejection feels like evidence of unworthiness.
Obsessive perfectionism, constantly chasing impossible standards.
People-Pleasing
Prioritizing others’ needs above your own to feel accepted or loved.
Avoiding conflict to maintain approval.
Masking true feelings to avoid being “too much” or “not enough.”
Self-Sabotage
Procrastination, avoidance, or creating last-minute crises.
Undermining achievements because success feels undeserved.
Settling for less or withdrawing from opportunities due to fear of failure.
Comparison and External Validation
Constantly measuring yourself against others.
Seeking likes, recognition, or praise to confirm your value.
Discounting your own progress because “it’s never enough.”
Emotional Suppression
Ignoring or numbing emotions that might expose vulnerability.
Distracting yourself with busyness, social media, or consumption.
Avoiding introspection to sidestep uncomfortable truths about self-worth.
Fear-Based Decisions
Staying in relationships, jobs, or patterns that don’t serve you out of fear of loss or rejection.
Avoiding risks that might expose “inadequacy.”
Settling for the familiar, even when it hurts, because it feels safer than the unknown.
Identity Fusion
Identifying so strongly with what you do, how you look, or how others see you that self-worth is entirely conditional.
Losing connection to your authentic desires, intuition, and boundaries.
The tricky part: these patterns often feel normal, even virtuous, because society rewards overachievement, sacrifice, and approval-seeking. The belief of “not enough” becomes invisible, folded into what feels like discipline, care, or responsibility.

Creating a beautiful life is my only way!
Nice to meet you! I am the founder/creator of the More Than Existing™️ brand, books, and self-actualization coaching program. My ‘why’ to the work, is to share my stories and gifts in the hope that others may discover that they are so much more than the stories, fears, and insecurities. To become loyal to the longest relationship you will ever have, the relationship with you. As I often share with others, "If you could see what I can see you would never doubt you again!”
I am a woman with a passionate heart, blended in diversity and love, with a belief that the truest of you is waiting to be discovered when you take the journey inward to discover the divine within.
I may never be the right fit for the world, but I finally belong in my world, and I open my heart to invite in more love each and every day.
Much love, Corrie
