I hated this picture when I first saw it and knew it meant I had to sit with the woman that was in the image and look deep into her eyes.  

She had finally become beautifully angry and no not bitter. She has a joy, a sparkle and intensity of a woman ready to set her world on fire. She had stopped trying to justify and what she thought was so ugly was the most beautiful, powerful parts. The parts they never wanted to rise because with that comes a truth and now she is unleashed from the past, from an identity or a reputation that others created and now she is finally free.  

I like this woman and yes I can see the crazy live in her eyes and she has divine purpose.  

When I finally became kind to myself I had learned that I should have just said, “F*** off!”  more times than I apologized to the ugly side of humanity.

The clarity and evolution came at a cost and the truest of loyalty was buried deep within me.

No more will I sell my soul, my truth or my dignity to say it’s okay or apologize to the hypocrisy of a world pretending to be kind and built on pretty lies and half assed truths.  

I will always show dignity but my respect is to be earned.  

I will show the light but I will no longer give away mine. I will always send love.

Clarity was discovered when I learned to live above the stories of my thoughts and came home to the truth that I am my soul and my possibilities are limitless so from here I will will no longer lived defined by the fears that suppress.  

Free the ugly and you will see a beauty that needs no artificial light to shine.
