The Energy May Not Be Favourable

What if the energy isn't favourable?
That may not be the message many people want to hear, especially in a world where we often look for reassurance, certainty, and confirmation that everything is unfolding exactly as planned. Yet the energy moving through this moment feels less concerned with comfort and more interested in truth.
Over the past week, I have been trying to record this message. Since June 9th, it has felt as though the energy itself has been resisting ease. What I often notice is that what is happening energetically has a way of reflecting itself in the physical world. Strong winds, heavy rains, storms, and even tornadoes have been making themselves known. Here in Canada, several tornadoes recently touched down, and it feels as though we are not entirely out of the woods yet. The element of air has been particularly active, stirring things up, moving stagnant energy, and disrupting what has become too settled or too comfortable.
At the same time, another shift is beginning to emerge. Chiron is preparing to move into Taurus, introducing a very different energy into the collective. However, Chiron is not yet finished with Aries. There can be a tendency to think that because a new chapter is approaching, the old one is complete. Yet Chiron's journey through Aries still has lessons to offer. The final destination has not fully landed, and there is still work unfolding before this cycle comes to a close.
What we are beginning to experience is an introduction to Taurus energy within the Chiron story. Earth is returning to the conversation. Grounding is returning. Reality is returning. With that return comes honesty.
One of the strongest themes I continue to see in the collective right now is the watering down of truth. We live in a world driven by views, clicks, attention, and performance. It has become increasingly easy to be swept into personas, carefully crafted identities, and messages designed to give people exactly what they want to hear. Yet what we want to hear and what we need to hear are often very different things.
When we are given temporary comfort, temporary validation, or temporary hope, we may feel satisfied for a moment. Yet if nothing truly changes, the same lesson often returns. The same patterns repeat. Truth asks something different of us. Truth asks us to look honestly at ourselves. It asks us to participate in our own growth. It asks us to recognize where effort is required, not through force or struggle, but through conscious participation.
As Chiron begins to reconnect us with the Earth element, there is an invitation to return to what cannot be denied. The Earth has a way of bringing us back to reality. It reveals what is solid and what is not. It shows us where we have built our lives upon strong foundations and where we may still be relying on illusion, avoidance, or wishful thinking.
This energy is not asking us to become cynical. It is not asking us to lose faith. Rather, it is inviting us to strengthen our relationship with truth. It is encouraging us to question whether we are following our own path or simply following the next trend. It is asking us to consider whether we are listening to the deepest wisdom within ourselves or whether we are seeking answers that simply make us feel comfortable.
The energy may not be favourable in the way many people would like it to be. It may not be offering immediate solutions or easy answers. Yet there is something incredibly valuable about an unfavourable forecast. It reminds us that growth often requires participation. It reminds us that change asks something of us. It reminds us that we are not powerless participants in our lives but active creators within them.
Sometimes the greatest gift an energy cycle can offer is not comfort, but clarity. And clarity has a way of revealing what is real, what is true, and what is finally ready to change.
