This has been a long journey on a road with the same destination for all, and I am living in the middle—observing, but no longer participating, in the false narratives. This is not a job to me. I don’t have someone to become to be enough, and this was not about being a someone to something. It was about living myself out loud and no longer creating someone I had to be.
I created this image a while ago and didn’t share because I told myself I am not about trends, but yet it was an image that made me smile. I have a little inherent rebellious side, lol. I am all of these things in an identity that comes from the soul, blended with my proud indigenous and witchy roots. I didn’t study to be me, I was born as me, and slowly throughout life I put her in a box and became more of the image that was the safest from ridicule and humiliation. The attacks came regardless, because we live in a world of hungry ghosts—shadows appearing as selves deflecting unprocessed pain onto others. Archetypal energy playing out in patterns that we all perform from time to time until we decide to change the story, the stage, and see beyond the bullshit.
You know what changed me? What awakening is? Humility. Through humility that I no longer ran from—I stayed down. I stopped trying to create a character that others would appreciate, need or like. I took the best of myself out of box and set her free. I have been learning to not be mean to myself. If this was a job I would have quit long ago, but this is my life and at this point I have no other choice but to be me. I have no competition, I have no desire to race, I know what’s at the end, and I am in no hurry to get there.
There is so much to discover from here, and as I move deeper into my place I am dismantling a lot of what no longer serves me.

My smile, my love, my compassion and my spirited nature are things I use to only give to others before I could fully see myself. I truly was simply born this way and the less I try, and the more I let the hurt be resolved, the clearer the truth appeared.
