An Archetypal Perspective.

I’ve been sitting with what’s happening collectively and I didn’t want to rush to comment on it.
There is exposure and power being questioned, and to many of us this is not new news. There are stories surfacing that unsettle people deeply. That at one time many would not have believed because it was unimaginable to them. The veils of illusions are falling away and I can feel the pull to swing at this time. Old me would have been so very loud about all that is transpiring.
I can feel the collective feelings and emotions responding and reacting. A desire to call it all corrupt and orchestrated, or to dismiss everything as exaggerated and irrational. But what keeps landing for me is this: None of this is surprising from an archetypal perspective. It is predictable.
When power accumulates without accountability, shadow concentrates. When influence goes unchecked, exploitation eventually follows. When elites protect elites, exposure is not shocking, it is cyclical.
This is not mystical chaos it is archetypal law at play.
The predator archetype has always existed. The corrupt ruler has always existed. The untouchable figure who eventually falls has always existed. The never enough, the hunger for more, the power of secrecy that’s not so secret.
History repeats these patterns because human consciousness repeats these patterns. What we are witnessing is darkness revealing itself. It is human immaturity amplified by wealth, access and insulation.
That doesn’t make it small and too often we just want it to go away, to disguise itself again, so you don’t have to deal with it. It makes it understandable and understanding matters. It doesn’t make it right. it’s horrific. But when you see the patterns, you see the truth. But dealing heals, it vindicates the once voiceless.
Right now the collective nervous system is reacting loudly. Outrage, conspiracy and denial, this is the collapsing of what was once trust for some, a liberated truth but… where is the solution? Archetypally, this is what happens when shadow that has been protected for too long is now exposed. It surfaces and it’s not pretty. Not because of some cosmic prewritten script, but because concentrated power without integration always destabilizes itself.
Where is the accountability when a system is given the reigns to power freely? That is predictable…
When we mythologize darkness into something omnipotent, we give it scale beyond what is necessary. We turn human dysfunction into something supernatural, and in doing that, we lose perspective and often our sovereignty. I love the supernatural but I never approach it without discernment.
Naming the archetype does not minimize harm it contextualizes it. You can see the missing pieces, the belief, the structure, the shadow trap. This is not about dismissal in anyway, I know beyond know the power of a predator or an energy vampire. This is about maturity and not becoming a mirror reflection to the lack of maturity.
You don’t battle darkness with darkness, you apply the light until the darkness dissolves. Yes, corruption exists. Yes, systems protect themselves. Yes, exploitation can cluster at high levels of power. And no, that does not automatically mean there is an all-powerful hidden force orchestrating reality, but there may possibly be. Sometimes it means shadow was never integrated and power amplified it. That is sobering enough. That’s the truth of how people separate from their self, their light, and this can so easily happen when you go to the extremes.
Staying in the middle right now is not passive. It takes strength and regulation, it takes resisting the rush of intensity. The middle allows you to see the pattern without being possessed by it. This is archetypal predictability unfolding in real time. The question is not “How dark is the darkness?” The question is “Can we stay conscious while it reveals itself?”
Darkness is ugly and not something that can be explained away. Clarity feels stronger than drama right now, and I am choosing clarity. Clarity will provide certainty on the next move and that’s where divine power exists.
