Solar Eclipse, New Moon and The Way to the Divine

The Weekly Channeled Message for August 10–17, 2026 speaks to a lot of shifting energy around us as we move through Leo Season, the New Moon and Solar Eclipse, Mars moving from Gemini into Cancer, the changing nodal energy, and everything that is being stirred within the collective.
There is a lot of intensity out there right now. There is anger. There is division. There is moodiness, control and this need to decide who is right and who is wrong.
We are seeing things exposed, but just because another veil falls doesn't necessarily mean we immediately have the whole truth. This is where I feel we need to become very aware of what we are allowing ourselves to become invested in.
What if the changes unfolding around us are asking us to stop trying to control the direction—and instead become willing to witness what is being revealed?
Can you witness what is happening without absorbing it?
Can you allow change to unfold without immediately trying to grab the steering wheel and decide where everything needs to go?
Sometimes we simply need to stay out of the way long enough to see what is actually trying to happen.
We Are In This Together
Through all of this, I keep coming back to something very simple: people matter. Kindness matters. Respect matters. Compassion matters. There are so many opinions about what is happening in our world and why it is happening, but sometimes we become so invested in the debate that we lose sight of the human beings actually living through it. We are in this together.
The New Moon and Solar Eclipse energy feels like the ending of a story, a chapter or even an entire book for some people. There may be revelations, answers or news that suddenly changes the projection of your life. It could involve relationships, work, health, community or another area where you have felt as though you've been sitting on the fence waiting for something to shift.
But remember: an ending doesn't automatically mean a bad ending. Sometimes an ending is the moment something finally works out. Sometimes it is the moment things finally begin turning in your favour.
Sudden Gains and Sudden Losses
I also keep seeing this energy of sudden gains and sudden losses, alongside something that feels joyful and worth celebrating. We have strong Leo fire moving through the week, bringing initiative, enthusiasm and potentially the energy to finally do something you simply haven't had the energy to do.
The Opportunity to Recharge
One of the strongest messages coming through for me is around healing, recovery, health and time. We've spent so long pushing. Push, push, push. Go, go, go. Chase, perform, do. And many of us haven't given ourselves the opportunity to fully recover from everything we've moved through.
This energy is giving us an opportunity to recharge, to look at what remains unresolved within us and to create space for healing. There is no greater commodity than your health and your time. Where are you investing yours?
What is the way to your Divine?
Perhaps this is the deeper message of this week's reading: What is the way to your Divine?
We spend so much of our lives searching outside of ourselves for something that has always existed within us. There is an essence, a Divine expression and a Divine consciousness that has always been available to you. You were never separate from it.
And when we begin to recognize our own connection to the Divine, we don't have to reject everything we used to be. Those experiences are part of our wholeness too. The awakening that is happening is an awakening within. It is a coming home to ourselves.
This is about becoming willing to see ourselves more clearly—the light and the shadow—and recognizing the parts of ourselves that may still be acting from fear, ego, familiarity, comfort or the need to remain the same. Because we are here to evolve.
We are here to become more alive in our own lives. We are not here to simply go through the motions.
