Returning to the Truth of Who You Are
The More Than Existing Way Energy update for May 11-18, 2026 channeled by Mystic, Medium, Spiritual and Emotional Leader, Corrie Thorne-Cameron
There comes a moment on the journey where you realize you are no longer willing to shape yourself into something more acceptable, more polished, or more digestible for the world around you. That is the energy I kept meeting as I sat down to record this week’s message. Every time I tried to overthink it, perfect it, or make it fit into some kind of formula, something in me stopped. And what I finally realized was this: I am not here to create perfect videos. I am here to deliver truth.
So many people are exhausted from trying to fit into systems, identities, expectations, and versions of themselves that were never truly aligned to begin with. We’ve been taught to seek validation outside of ourselves — to look for approval, recognition, and confirmation that we matter. But I want you to remember something deeply important: you are already somebody, whether the world acknowledges it or not.
This week’s energy feels chaotic because it is revealing where we have abandoned ourselves. It is showing us the places where we swapped our truth for acceptance, usefulness, survival, or belonging. I often refer to this as “destiny swapping” — those moments in life where we unconsciously begin walking paths that were never really ours. Sometimes it begins very early. We learn how to adapt. We learn how to become who others need us to be. We learn how to perform usefulness instead of embodying truth.
For much of my own life, I realized I had connected my worth to being useful. Somewhere along the way, being spiritually alive became secondary to being needed. And when that happens, we slowly disconnect from our authentic self. But the beautiful thing about this energy is that it is inviting us to reclaim what was always ours.
Many of you may be feeling this deep internal pull right now — almost like something inside of you is trying to return home. At the same time, there can be fear around letting go of the identities you’ve carried for so long. But if you were able to swap identities once before in order to survive, adapt, or belong, then you are also capable of returning to your truth.
This is why so much is being revealed right now. The masks are cracking. The false identities are becoming harder to maintain. You may notice people around you becoming more reactive, more emotional, more exposed. You may also notice parts of yourself resurfacing that you thought you had outgrown. But this is not failure — this is revelation.
We are moving through an energy that no longer supports artificial perfection. Anything false, forced, or overly constructed cannot sustain itself here. And while that may feel messy, humanity has always been messy. Nature itself is messy. Mother Earth does not grow in perfect lines or polished systems, and neither do we.
1. What if the parts of yourself you’ve been resisting were never actually wrong?
2. What if the version of you underneath all the conditioning was always enough?
Radical self-acceptance is becoming one of the greatest lessons of this time. Not acceptance because you finally became perfect, but acceptance because you stopped trying to become someone else.
As we move toward the powerful Taurus New Moon energies, I keep feeling this shift pulling us back toward authenticity, embodiment, and real connection. There is a collective exhaustion around pretending. People are craving truth now. Not performance. Not perfection. Truth.
And with that comes discernment. This week may stir emotional reactions, arguments, eruptions, or old behavioral patterns. Before reacting automatically, ask yourself: Am I responding from truth, or from conditioning? Am I trying to prove my worth? Am I trying to earn love through usefulness?
The deeper invitation of this energy is not to become someone new. It is to remember who you were before the world told you who you had to be.
