July’s Full Moon in Aquarius is also known as the Buck Moon, but the word buzzing through the energy is individualism.
There may not be one clearly defined meaning for what is unfolding because everything is moving quickly, yet there is growing clarity around what we are no longer willing to accept simply because it has always been considered acceptable.
The way it has always been does not necessarily represent the way the soul needs it to continue.
With the lunar nodes having shifted into Aquarius and Leo, and Saturn in Aries beginning its retrograde, something is changing around identity, belonging, authority and the places we know we are meant to occupy.
The message I hear clearly is: This time, I will not be pushed out. This is not fight energy. It is rightful-place energy.
There is a difference between fighting to prove you belong and finally knowing that you do. Aquarius energy helps us recognize the patterns beneath the performance, including passive manipulation, hidden competition and the ways people sometimes attempt to create their own belonging by taking someone else’s place.
Once something has been seen clearly, it cannot be unseen, and perhaps that is where the relief of this moon arrives. The decision has finally been made.
On a personal level, I can feel this as a refusal to keep walking away from myself simply to prove that I am kind. Kindness does not require us to become smaller, and compassion does not mean carrying the consequences of another person’s insecurity.
There is enough space for each of us to have an identity, a purpose and a life of our own. We do not have to take from another person to discover what belongs to us.
This moon carries a strong no more bullshit energy. Eyes are opening, patterns are becoming obvious and what has been tolerated for too long may no longer feel acceptable.
Take your place and allow others to take theirs. You are entitled to be seen, successful, happy and joyful—not at the expense of anyone else, but no longer at the expense of yourself. This energy feels bigger, it feels intentional and extremely mature.
